Divertimento

Divertimento is a twenty-two strong band of musicians of all ages, shapes and sizes. Over the past sixteen years, we have tried to push back the boundaries of small choral repertoire - in a bid to challenge the belief that it’s all fa la la and hey nonny no.

Our performances now cover

• Bach to Barbershop,
• plainchant to polyphony,
• medieval to modern,
• Rachmaninov to really rather rude.

We sing music without words

and words without music,

sacred and profane.

If it can be sung, we'll sing it.

Based in Leamington Spa in England, the choir has an international reputation for an entertaining performance of excellent music and amusing recitation.
